Having battled through three rounds of qualifying and winning his first round in the main draw convincingly Oscar Podlewski is now through to the third round of the Jerry Simmons Evert American Junior ITF having defeated number eight seed Jamaal Adderley from the Bahamas 6-1 6-3.

Despite being broken in the opening game Oscar broke back immediately and began dominating both from the baseline and net.  In aggressive style the MCTA player took the first set 6-1.

The second set was similar to the first in that Oscar again was broken straight away but he stepped up the tempo, returned exceptionally well and overpowered Adderley to go 5-1 up.  A slight lapse in concentration allowed his opponent to snatch back a couple of games but Oscar recovered quickly enough to capture the set 6-3.

Oscar’s team mate and number nine seed Ilija Vucic is due to play Ryan Lissner from the USA in his second round match.  Should he win it will see the two MCTA players coming face to face in the third round for the first time.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
