Alex Walker and Marshall Tutu (both Sports Performance) have been selected to represent the Great Britain Universities team in France at the prestigious BNP Paribas event at the start of December. The annual event sees 8 Nations including France, America and China compete over 3 days in a Davis Cup / Fed Cup format and is a high level international event with the French usually having players ranked around 250 WTA / ATP and America bringing over their top ranked college players.

The event is a great chance for both players to gain some international experience and put themselves in the frame for World University Games in Russia 2013 – the second largest multi sport event in the world. It comes on the back of both players working hard on their tennis whilst also obtaining a degree as both players have been out competing in $10 / 25k events as well as British tours.

TeamBath MCTA Performance Coach James Andell said “I am delighted both players have been selected to represent GB. Both players are training extremely hard and have had some good results in the past few months, especially Alex who won a round of the $10k last week at Loughborough as well as making the semis of doubles the same week.”

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
