TEAMBATH-MCTA are proud of Roxanne, strength and conditioning trainer who completed the Capital radio London half marathon run last Sunday the 10th of October on a sunny day starting and ending in Hyde park. The atmosphere was brilliant and organisation superb for the 50,000 runners. We are confident that the training team of Alex Cockram, Alex Chapman, Roxanne Sammel and the physiotherapist Katy Williams are one of the finest at any academy in the world.

This team of trainers have tennis experience and understand the importance of linking all the physical work to tennis, working specifically on players tennis movement and tennis specific strength work that directly aid improved ball striking. The support and help they give each other and the coaching staff is invaluable. Added to this the linking of Katy to the work means the physical and physio screenings lead to areas of weakness being highlighted and either strengthened or treated.

Many senior players will be in Glasgow next week. Our younger juniors Samm Butler, Seb Rey, Luke Johnson, Toby Mitchell and Bridget Folland are braving the ITF in Libya ably coached by Jim Edgar. Hopefully some or all will return with world junior rankings.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
