Sutton Tennis Academy and Monte Carlo Tennis Academy “MCTA” are pleased to announce an association aimed at identifying tennis talent and providing them with appropriate National or International training and player development opportunities.

MCTA has a small stable of world-ranked players and provides ongoing training and touring support for these players with at least 20 weeks of the year spent "on the road" at a range of WTA / ATP tournaments.  It is unlikely that any player ranked lower than 500 will be appropriate for their programme, however Sutton Tennis Academy offers a wide selection of full-time programmes for players at a range of levels with the aim of producing top 500 players who might then become eligible for consideration as part of the MCTA programme or Sutton's own Pro-Academy programme.  Both academies believe that by working cooperatively they can better identify and develop tennis talent.

The association brings together a wealth of coaching experience with Sutton Tennis Academy headed by Jeremy Bates, assisted by Nick Weal and David Sammel and Jez Green from MCTA.

As part of this association MCTA and Sutton Tennis Academy will be conducting a Talent Assessment Day at Sutton Tennis Academy on Saturday 1 November 2008. David Sammel, MCTA Director of Tennis, says: “The Talent Assessment Day is a perfect platform for players and parents to measure where they are and what needs to be done to succeed. It will be a down to earth assessment that will help players to make decisions about their tennis future.” To find out more about the day and to register online click here

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
