Over this 4 week fitness block I've done quite a few sessions independently, without a coach or another training partner. This I find can sometimes make it hard to motivate myself to complete the session to the highest quality. I found myself with burning legs, hardly able to breathe and nearly vomiting and I think to myself why do i put myself through this everyday. But the thing that keeps me going through these tough sessions is a need to prove to myself that I can achieve it. And I don't need anyone to motivate or encourage me, it just needs to come from myself.
So I've learnt that in my own head I do set high standards and I don't feel satisfied unless those standards are met. No matter if I'm training individually or in a team. |
