Mixed Weather

Hi all,

Well the weekend brought very mixed weather from warm sunshine to hail and back again. This combined with the fact that the qualifying for the tournament had started meant that training on Saturday and Sunday had to be switched around slightly. The players, who are just starting an endurance block, did their physical sessions in the morning and then tennis in the afternoon.

The day prior to a tournament it is vital that the players get their heads down into some serious match play and hence they paired themselves up with an opponent outside of our group and played a practise set. When on the road it is important for them to utilise the fact that there are
foreign players around and to try to practise against them as much as possible. This enables the players to try their game plan against differing styles.

Oscar went through qualifying without any real hassle so the whole team will start their campaign tomorrow in the main draw beginning at 8am.

Let’s hope they can get off to a winning start!!!

Cheers

Hampo

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
